Description: This presentation/session is a source of knowledge and understanding of the importance of Knowledge Keepers in the University of Lethbridge, Student Services.
Protocol and practise of the University of Lethbridge will be presented. Participants will engage in identifying what knowledge is understood of Aawaaaskataiksi, Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and what does this mean to Indigenous Postsecondary Students and their Mental Health. Furthermore, is this practice achievable in your institute? From the perspective of the Indigenous Student Advisory, Indigenous Student Services strives to acknowledge the importance of Experiential Knowledge of Indigenous Knowledge Keepers to propel us into the future of graduating healthy and motivated Indigenous graduates.
